Inter Cropping of Chilli with Coriander and Fenugreek in Prayagraj Agro-climatic Conditions

A field experiment entitled “Inter Cropping of Chilli With Coriander and Fenugreek in Prayagraj Agro-climatic Conditions” was conducted from December, 2021 – March, 2022 at the Horticulture Research Farm, Department Horticulture, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences, Prayagraj. The laid out Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications 08 treatments. consisted six cropping combinations viz., sole chilli, coriander, fenugreek, chilli + chilli+ coriander fenugreek. highest yield (green chilli) obtained treatment T1 (Sole @ 100 % RDF) (13.06 t ha-1). Among intercropping treatments, (12.73 ha-1) T4 (chilli 85% RDF @15% whereas lowest (10.54 found T8 55 22.5 fenugreek@ 22.5% RDF). production decreased by intercropping, but overall rose above solitary due to contribution companion crops. along intercrop (150.71 ha-1), gross return (1101506 Rs. net (817969 benefit cost ratio (3.88) were 20% Considering experimental findings, most suitable combination for higher productivity economic under agro-climatic conditions.
